About design work and references
These commissions do not include any design work - you need to have a clear and good visual reference(s) showing the design of the character.
Note: Please do not request a commission if you do not have pre-existing references ready at the time of buying a slot.------------------------
What I need from you:
1. Good and clear, pre-existing reference photo(s)
Clear and good quality reference images are important, so please:
- Avoid sending very dark images with strong atmospheric lighting.
- Avoid sending very low-resolution images - I need to see all the design elements clearly to be able to draw them.- Avoid sending references images with black or very dark backgrounds that make it hard to see the silhouette of the design and character.Instead, it's good and preferable to keep the reference images rather clearly lit and easy to read, showing the design in neutral lighting and/or placed against a light or otherwise clear background.Ideally, it often is very helpful if I can see the design from various angles, such as both sides and the front angle (character reference sheets/turnarounds).If you do not have a turnaround character reference sheet, that's okay: just make sure that the photos (for example a portrait of your OC) you send are otherwise clear, well-lit, and easy to read. You can also add clarifying text if needed. It is important to have all the important design elements shown clearly and consistently in your reference(s). You can also add clarifying text. This is to avoid misinterpreting or misunderstanding.2. Filled-in info formWhen filling in the form, please try not to write long strings of text. Instead, it is best to keep the info as compact as possible, for example by listing all the important qualities or elements very clearly. This way it is easier for me to find the important info. What you get
Two versions of the finished artwork, delivered via email:
- Original high-resolution (300 PPI), A3-sized artwork in JPG format.
- A smaller, lower-resolution website version with a watermark.
- Other versions, such as PNG images can be delivered upon request.

PAYMENT
Full payment in advance via PayPal
REFUNDS
No refunds are possible on already finished commissions or after I've already started working on your commission. If I haven't started to work on your commission yet, a full refund is possible (minus any PayPal transfer fees).
I reserve the right to cancel and refund the commission for any reason at any time, for example, if the client fails to follow the terms and rules provided in this terms of service.Kill fee
If I have to refund and cancel an unfinished commission, I will refund 50 % of the original rate and keep the other 50% as a kill fee and compensation for the work already done.
However, I try to avoid canceling unfinished commissions and only cancel if I feel very uncomfortable.REVISIONS & PROCESS
Each portrait sketch commission includes 1 possible revision round, since the commission type is a faster sketch. After I've received your payment and the needed info, I will send you a short message informing you that I've received your request. If I need more info on something, I will ask you.
After I have all the info I need, I'll start to work on your sketch commission and send you the finished sketch for approval within the turnaround time provided in my terms (1 - 5 weeks). At this point, you can request me to do one or two (1-2) relatively small, reasonable revisions on the sketch if needed, or approve the artwork as finished. The revision needs to be reasonable, not redoing the whole sketch (or a huge part of it) for example.Important: To avoid any misinterpretations and the need for multiple revisions afterward, please take your time writing the description info and send clear and good reference image(s), that show the design in a consistent and easy-to-read way. For more info and explanation, see the "What I need from you" section of this ToS.------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Commission form, for Ko-fi sketch portraits

Please include the following information in your order. Please use a similar numbered (1-5) format I've used below, just filling in your character info in each section. Also, please double-check that you've ticked the boxes for the possible add-ons before sending the final commission request!

1. Character name, fantasy race & short info (a few sentences)2. Character's looks & personality
Eye color, skin color, hair color etc
Possible scars, unique pupil shapes or other important design elements, clearly described in writing.
This is to avoid misinterpretation of reference images if - for example- the reference images do not show the character in neutral lighting or important design elements 100% clearly.A short personality description helps me to portray your character true to their character.3. Info about the materials/clothing (if needed)
Again, to avoid misinterpretation of reference images.
4. General commission idea & description
Basically, how do you wish the commission to look. These can be ideas for character expression (smiling, neutral, etc) or facial angle (frontal or side angle). You can also trust this with me and I'll do my best to portray your character in a way that I feel suits the character's personality and description.
Note: If you leave this section more open, I'll interpret it as permission to use more creative freedom to portray your character in a way that I feel suits them well, based on your description and references. Granting me some artistic freedom will often result in a better portrait.5. Clear visual reference photo(s) of your character
These can be well-lit game screenshots, previously commissioned artworks, character sheets, or references created in Hero Forge or Picrew for example.
Clear and easy-to-read reference images are important, so please avoid sending very dark images with strong atmospheric lighting that makes the design structures, local values, and colors harder to understand.Instead, it's good and preferable to keep the reference images rather clearly lit, showing the design in a more neutral lighting. You can find a more detailed explanation from my ToS.
